Legislation requires a disabled and rider representative from the Nantucket community to serve on the NRTA Advisory Board. One representative of the disabled commuter population shall serve on the advisory board as a non-voting member for a 1-year term. This representative shall be mobility impaired or have a family member who is mobility impaired, be a caretaker of a person who is mobility impaired, or work for an organization that serves the needs of the physically disabled and one representative from the rider community. The term is for 2024. The NRTA meets on an as needed basis, typically four to six times a year. Interest forms may be obtained and returned at the NRTA’s Administrative Office, 20 R South Water Street.
